Early Response Team Training is for individuals who are interested in serving in a disaster area after the Emergency responders have rescued survivors and made the area safe. ERT volunteers tarp roofs, clear debris, and listen to the stories of survivors. To become certified, an individual must complete Safe Gatherings training and Early Response Team training, and complete a background check. Louisburg United Methodist Church ERT's have traveled to many towns in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and even Puerto Rico! Email email@example.com if you'd like more information on becoming an ERT member!
Missions at Louisburg UMC include many different opportunities!
Our Women's Group works with Project Patricia by collecting material and constructing cloth, reusable maxi pads. They items are then sent to Project Patricia which coordinates and sends them with Missionaries to be distributed to women and girls of menstruating age in Africa.
